Take part in International Jazz Day 2026

April 30 marks International Jazz Day, created in 2011 by the legendary Herbie Hancock and UNESCO to highlight the role of jazz as a form of free expression that has contributed to equality and peace.

For 13 years, Jazz à Vienne has coordinated this event in the region. To celebrate this day, many artists take part in the festivities with a program that combines artistic and cultural disciplines. Bars, museums, concert halls, cinemas... all these venues host musical projects from the region. The goal? To raise public awareness of jazz.
