SuperMega SuperCool Révolution

SuperMégaSuperCool Révolution is all about breaking down aesthetic boundaries—a psychedelic jazz with no limits or labels, evoking the sounds of Stereolab, the Mahavishny Orchestra, and Black Midi. SMSCR was born out of a desire to create something that doesn’t yet exist and to paint new sonic universes. The band plays with boundaries, drawing influences from the 1970s funk fusion scene, electronic music, and even punk rock. With boundless energy and a need to break the rules, the five musicians juggle self-deprecating humor amidst harmonic madness, high-octane dynamics, and noise-driven atmospheres. With some forty shows under their belt, their performance transcends tastes and social classes to unite audiences with a wild and electrifying stage presence straight out of the organic jungle of Villeurbanne.
