Ōazin

Ōazin’s groovy, high-energy brass band, led by Jeanne Michard—a saxophonist, composer, and winner of the “Revelation” category at the 2023 Victoires du Jazz—is driven by a desire to share the group’s experience, collective energy, and strength. Blending funk grooves, second line rhythms, and hip-hop beats, Ōazin—whose members may remind some of the 2025 youth production “L’envol cuivré des oiseaux”—embodies the joyful, unifying trance of the brass band.
