Iencli Mafia

Iencli Mafia brings to life a hybrid, sincere, and organic style of rap. Slin and Mito’s incisive lyrics come alive through a variety of sounds, ranging from neo-soul and funk fusion to other experimental styles. The group released two EPs in 2021 (L’air du temps and Double sens), and developed a live format by bringing in drummer Alexandre Lavit to create an even more dynamic performance. A few concerts were performed, but the desire to return to the creative process to have more to offer became the priority. Iencli Mafia then spent a year and a half working on their debut album: Service client. Entirely composed and produced by Tom Fuchs (aka Mito), it was conceived from the outset to be performed by a live band—richer in influences, freer, and more ambitious. On stage, three musicians accompany the two MCs to bring this new project to life in all its power, in a naturally explosive lineup! With emotion, criticism, and irony, they paint a picture of our world while delivering a provocative message: “We’re all someone else’s iencli.”
