Cédric Hanriot “Time is Color”

The French pianist and composer would already be an exception if he only had his record of collaborations with some of the greatest figures of modern jazz, such as Diane Reeves, Donny McCaslin, Terri Lyne Carrington or the legendary Herbie Hancock. However, this keyboard expert, who draw his inspiration from great masters of classical music, electro and hip-hop, is also a bold composer. In his last two albums, Time is Color, Cédric Hanriot developed a style combining energetic delights and the urge to improvise. He is now part of those all too rare artists whose inspiration is as important as their perfect technique.
