Emile Londonien

If this young trio’s name already sounds familiar, it's because its three members, keyboardist Nils Boyny, bassist Théo Tritsch and drummer Matthieu Drago chose it as a nod to two of their major sources of inspiration: saxophonist Émile Parisien and London jazz in all its diversity, from jazz to electro and afrobeat. But Emile London is one of the few bands to have moulded these genres, lately so fashionable, into something truly original. Testament to this is Legacy, their début album, which was released to critical acclaim last February. This concert will be an ideal opportunity to see a band that is here to stay.
