Heading for 2027: discover the artist behind next edition’s poster!

Jazz à Vienne is already looking ahead to the 46th edition of the festival, which will take place from June 25 to July 10, 2027!

2026 marked the birth of a brand-new partnership between Jazz à Vienne and the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. Together, Jazz à Vienne and Annecy Festival began a dialogue between music and image, improvisation and visual creation, stage and screen. This fertile crossover between music and animation opens the way to new forms of storytelling, programming, and experiences for audiences and artists alike. The first result of this collaboration was the poster for the 2026 edition of Jazz à Vienne, entrusted to Lucrèce Andreae, from the Annecy Festival’s creative talent pool. For 2027, the festival’s visual identity has been entrusted to Sébastien Laudenbach.

Sébastien Laudenbach is a director, screenwriter, graphic designer, and illustrator. Author of 10 short films and several poetry-films, he has taught at ENSAD since 2001. His first feature film, The Girl Without Hands (2016), was nominated at the César Awards. In 2023, Linda Wants Chicken!, co-directed with Chiara Malta, won more than 40 awards, including the César for Best Animated Feature. His new film, Carmen, the Rebel Bird!, presented at Cannes 2026, will be released on December 16, 2026.
