Soba

Formed by singer-guitarist Moussa Koita, harmonica player Vincent Bucher, and drummer Émile Biayenda, SOBA bridges the gap between West African Mandinka song and Mississippi blues. The result is an Afro-blues style that is as raw as it is luminous, through which the trio explores the depths of the human soul. Their album Fiman explores powerful themes such as intersecting identities, migration, love, nostalgia, and solidarity.
