One Mind trio

One Mind is an acoustic jazz trio comprised of pianist Suzy Song, bassist Jonghyun Kim, and drummer Hayeon Song. Each musician brings a distinct musical background, and together they weave their individual artistic identities into a fluid and unified musical flow that expresses their shared creative vision. Inspired by Hank Jones’s album Hanky ​​Panky, the trio has developed a signature sound based on clarity, balance, and attentive interaction. Within this refined aesthetic, they strive to present the essence of their music with honesty and openness, remaining fully receptive to each member’s contributions. Their distinctive sound emerges from the combination of lyrical and flowing piano lines, a warm and grounded acoustic presence from the bass, and drums that add color, depth, and drive to the whole. Together, these elements create a contemporary yet deeply expressive artistic voice that defines the One Mind Trio. In 2025, the One Mind Trio was selected for “Searching for Jazzman”, the emerging artist incubation program of the Jarasum Jazz Festival, one of Korea's most important jazz events. Through this program, they completed a national tour and a series of festival performances, generating considerable public interest. The trio continues to expand its musical reach through upcoming concerts and international collaborations.
