Amin Al Aiedy quartet

At the crossroads of Eastern and Western sounds, Amin Al Aiedy blends the textures, rhythms, and accents of classical Arabic music with those of contemporary jazz, leading us into uncharted territory. With his quartet, they recorded their debut album, SHAMS, in 2023, a tribute to the fascinating region of the world, “Bilad al-Sham”, which corresponds to the Levant or Middle East. Their music evokes a contrasting landscape, in which maqams intertwine with polyrhythms, creating new arabesques together.
