You might not yet have heard of this Parisian saxophonist yet, but he has already collaborated with singer Sandra Nkaké, saxophonist Manu Dibango and star Afrobeat drummer Tony Allen, with whom he co-composed The Source, an album released in 2017. Fame should be just around the corner for Yann Jankielewicz though following the release of his debut album, Keep it Simple, which is a musical self-portrait blending the great traditions of saxophone jazz, experimental electro and Afrobeat. This album marks this exceptionally discerning leader's jump to another league. For his appearance at Le Club, he will be supported by two like-minded instrumentalists: keyboardist Aléxis Anérilles — the highly sought after sideman (of Étienne Daho, Erik Truffaz, and Sophie Hunger, for instance) — and drummer Josh Dion — Paris Monster's band-leader and accompanist to John Scofield.

Line-up :

  • Yann Jankielewicz (saxophone)
  • Alexis Anérilles (piano, sinthetiser )
  • Josh Dion (batterie, vocals)
