Stracho “New Solo”
Stracho “New Solo”
On July 1st and 2nd, from 5 pm to 6 pm at the Musée d’Histoire de Vienne – église Saint-Pierre, Stracho Temelkovski, an artist associated with the festival, presents his new solo performance “New Solo”.
In this new solo format, Stracho Temelkovski, an inspired French multi-instrumentalist of Macedonian origin, invites audiences to an immersive experience where music is imbued with poetry. Stracho virtuously blends the bass and mandola, weaving bridges between jazz, world music, and Eastern and Western sounds. His percussive playing and beatboxing enrich this sonic odyssey, where each note tells its own story. It is a musical narrative with understated spoken word. An ode to discovery, dreams, and music that will remain etched in the hearts of the audience for a long time. In this new version, co-produced by Jazz à Vienne, Tangui Lecras, an outsider's perspective, takes Stracho even further, notably with a live looping technique and a profound, refined narrative.
Stracho Temelkovski is an associate artist at the Jazz à Vienne festival, as part of the artistic residency supported by the Isère Department.
