Salma quartet

The Salma Quartet is a group from Marseille whose musical style lies somewhere between bebop and modern jazz, expressed through original compositions and arrangements. One of its goals is to surprise the audience with a style that alternates between very precise structures and moments of near-total freedom. Founded by pianist Salma Blanchard, the group aims to revitalize and promote this music in the South of France, highlighting both its aesthetic and a shared ambition: “More women on stage”!
