James Andrews & Villa Albertine Collective

For him, music is connected to his family. He is the brother of Trombone Shorty, but also the grandson of the composer Jessie Hill, iconic figure from New Orleans whose hit “Ooh Poo Pah Doo” has withstood time. But the kid from Tremé, that you can discover in the eponymous series, is without any doubt part of those artists embodying the best the letter and the spirit of the jazz from Louisiana. The regular guest of French venues spreads his passion for partying and sharing with a great generosity and a bright energy. His repertoire is composed of timeless classics that everyone will love. For the occasion, the trumpet player will be accompanied by three amazing guests: Anne Paceo, Tiss Rodriguez and Sélène Saint-Aimé, former residents of the Villa Albertine. Together, they will propagate the jazz from New Orleans at the Club.

Line-up :

  • James Andrews (trumpet)
  • Sélène Saint-Aimé (double bass)
  • Anne Paceo (drums)
  • Tiss Rodriguez (drums)
